What is the lie and what is the truth? Is truth even true anymore if a lie is repeated so often that it becomes the new truth? Has the line gotten so blurry that we need catchy words as “truism” flaunted in front of the fact so that we even pay attention to a thing that really has proof and data behind it? How can you call something an information age if the majority of information is wrong or distorted and what is not wrong is so discouraged by the mainstream algorithm that you cannot find it unless you first peal of 10 layers piled on top?

Never before in the history of humanity have you been spoon feed so many information on a daily basis and actually been penalized by not following the smoothie of opinions and half-truths by a social stigma of “uninformed”. Never before has the society been so pathologized to the point where it cannot distinguish the lie from the truth anymore and it shifts its life into the lie. The detachment from reality has a clinical term – psychosis. No matter what happens to you, no matter the grief, despair, sadness and suffering that will inevitably emerge at one point of your life, there is such a thing in psychology as a reality test – over time reality will send you signals to get you out of your head and the whole you’re burying yourself into and pull you back into the world of a functional social interactions. Yet, once you adopt the simulation of the real as new reality there is nothing to pull you out any more and you begin the self-generating loop of falling deeper giving more and more attention to the lie, because you cannot see the truth any more. You already know that energy goes where attention does. Well the brain adapts via plasticity as well.

How many lies do you believe, of yourself and the world alike, and have you been made sufficiently anxious by them to drive behaviors yet? If not, if you’re one of the stronger ones, you’ll be served more, and if not aware of what is going on the slip into it is pending, loading until it becomes fully operational. Explore and research from reliable sources, don’t just accept what you hear at face value nor take the easy way out by saying “we’ve always done it like this” or “this is the only way” – because we haven’t and it isn’t.

So do you constantly compare yourself to the “ideal” figure, starve yourself, fast or step out of the shower fiddling with your love handles in despair? Do you feel guilty for indulging in the foods you love because you think you’re supposed to look a certain way? We all want to be attractive, it feels good to be desired, but are you aware of the lie of the ideal female body? Do you know the high end fashion industry and the idolized stick figures with disinterested vacant looks into the distance with zero body fat or muscle mass were actually chosen by gay men – searching for the androgynous body to mimic that of a teenage boy? So no, this is not the ideal body and the research clearly shows that opposites attract in the heterosexual desire – the boxy male body is attracted to the curves and softness it lacks, and vice versa.

So do you still believe social media are pro social and made to connect, made to flourish the bonds between people and build a community? The data is out there, interviews with people who directly worked on the design are available – the truth was whispered, you just couldn’t hear it because the social media is doing exactly what it was said to be designed for – make you not see the reality. You are endlessly fed in the loop that starts as a conditioning as you were Mr. Pavlov’s salivating dogs, where each ping is a reward in itself, making you feel valued and seen more than real interactions. The chief engineer said it was designed to grab as much of your attention as possible for as long as possible and that it was designed like this because the more users spend more time on a platform the more market value it holds and they can make more money of it. Did you know that the largest Instagram accounts have zero content, they are teenage girls eating bananas or similar nonsense. It was not designed for sharing information. It was not designed for you, but for marketing. It could have been designed in any of the 30 or such operational models that would serve YOU better but it took the only one that is self-perpetuated and unlimited in growth, although it supports antisocial and marginalized behaviors – the network model (this has already been proven to be a road to creating a cesspool as shown on the Wikipedia, which reverted back to having editors after its primary purpose of accurate information has been destroyed by allowing everyone to write what they want). Are you aware that anger rage and outrage are the most reactive and addictive emotions that will keep you coming back and are the most supported by the algorithm. Did you know that Twitter for that purpose limited the number of characters. What, you thought there was a problem of memory space on the server? No, it has been decisively proven that hate speech is much shorter than civilized speech. It is calibrated towards hooking you on fights, feuds and rudeness.

Do you believe your self-constructed lies of not being enough by looking at the filtered highlights of the lives of others, do you believe you’re falling behind or not doing enough? Do you believe you are failing because of the society that celebrates geniuses (but only in a narrow field and narrow age frame and in something completely irrelevant) and not wisdom, compassion, education, kindness…? The machine is powered by relative positioning and its bargaining chip is pathological envy. Jealousy is different. Jealousy will make you do something to be better, it will make you investigate and mimic in order to get to the point to be as good as the one you were jealous of. Inbuilt envy is malicious and ignites hate.

Do you still believe the lies of prevalent democratic arrangements, freedom of choice and speech of the states in the “developed” world when parents in Australia who receive money from the state are penalized if they don’t vaccinate their children with the state prescribed vaccinations, where journalists belonging to no party or association are banned from the country by having their visa revoked 4 hours prior to the flight so they wouldn’t say exactly what is confirmed right by banning them? Expose the lies. Don’t just believe everything you hear. Don’t be gullible and naive – Pinocchio was swindled by a fox and rightfully got turned into a jackass because of it.
